Refund and Cancellation Policy for Byron Mobile Mechanic
1. Cancellation Policy:
- Customer Cancellation: Customers may cancel or reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without incurring any fees.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a 50% cancellation fee of the service price.
- No-Show Policy: If the customer is unavailable at the scheduled appointment time, a 100% service charge will be applied.
2. Refund Policy:
- Service Completion: Once the service is completed, no refunds will be issued. If the customer is dissatisfied with the service, they must notify us within 24 hours of the service completion.
- Refund Eligibility: A refund may be issued if:
- The service was not performed as agreed.
- The mechanic failed to arrive within the agreed timeframe (unless a delay was communicated beforehand).
- There was a significant error in the service that was caused by our technician.
- Refund Requests: Any refund requests must be made within 7 days of the service date in writing. Refunds will only be issued if the service was deemed unsatisfactory, and it will be processed after an assessment.
3. Warranty for Services:
- We offer a 30-day warranty on labour and parts provided during the service. If any issues arise related to the work performed within this warranty period, we will repair or replace the faulty parts at no additional charge, provided the customer hasn’t caused damage after the service was completed.
4. Rescheduling Policy:
- If the customer needs to reschedule the service, we will do so based on availability, and there will be no additional charges if rescheduled 48 hours before the appointment.
- Rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment may incur a small fee to cover the administrative costs.
5. Payment Policy:
- Payment is due upon completion of the service on site prior to technician leaving the vehicle. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, or electronic payment apps.
- In the case of a refundable situation, payments will be refunded via the same method used for the original transaction.
